“GLACIER ” 5 STAGE REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS
How Reverse Osmosis Works?
The R.O. process uses a semipermeable membrane that has tiny holes which are 1000 of a micron small. This membrane has the ability to remove and reject a wide spectrum of impurities and contaminants from your water using only water pressure. These contaminants are automatically flushed down the drain. Only the purified water which has passed through the membrane gets collected and stored in an air tight sterilized water tank.
How, safe is water direct from the tap?
Water doesn’t have to taste or smell bad to contain harmful toxic chemicals. Water treatment facilities are geared solely for the prevention of waterborne diseases. In addition chemicals added to water by these treatment plants can react with organic matter present to form toxic, carcinogenic organic compounds known as Trihalomethane (THM`s). A recent environmental protection agency survey identified over 700 potential hazardous chemicals in the U.S water supplies.
